The Classic "Fleur-di-Lis" produces a three
tier water pattern. As pictured above, the Air-Max may be operated YEAR
ROUND. Unlike other units constructed of PVC or other
plactics, the Air-Max has a rugged fiberglass floatation device. With
the pump and motor assembly located in deeper "warmer" water,
helping to keep an opening in the ice, during freezing conditions. Since
all winters ARE NOT created equal, you will need to exercise your better
judgement during extreme freezing conditions. During extended times
of freezing conditions, you may just turn the unit off, allowing the
unit to become totally encased in ice. Then after the ice begins to
melt, simply turn the unit back on to resume normal operation.
